Augustinians at its finest Feast Day: SADSAD FESTIVAL

Street dances are done to commemorate the festival. It is celebrated in thanking the past years for remembering and for respect of our loving patron saints. One of the most well-known, energetic and big event of Augustians is the Sadsad Festival dance competition. Prepared colorful and glittering costumes and props are worn by participants or students and performed inside the campus. It is annual tradition celebrated for the feast of St. Augustine. The Sadsad Dance competition is a unique feature celebrated on the 29^th of August. It may not be as awesome and perfect as Dinagyang festival but is definitely impressive in choreography and brilliant in terms of the various attires worn by participating students which reflect the ingenuity, craftsmanship and artistry of the Augustinian learners.

It is the Augustinians ways of thanking the Patron Saint Augustine for the bountiful life, flawless wisdom with performances by students from every department who tried their best, giving all what they have got. It maybe are in best in costume, choreography, performance and even energy but the most worthy thing are the priceless moments they shared with others.

Today, in the modern there’s a lot of technologies where invented such as Computer, Mobile, Phones, Laptop, Ipad and so much more. Being individual we must know the quality of the product we buy in the market especially the gadgets, I was not really excited. There is no question that Apple products are good-looking.  One thing I remember when my sister bought for me an ipad.  It has a nice screen; it’s pretty good, the sound is OK and easy to carry around and the batteries last a long time.

And that’s about where my attributes end and now I’m going to get started on critiquing on my Ipad you can’t easily connect to the Itunes, So what is the purpose of that If I can’t connect it easily? My ability to personalize the device (it is MINE, right?) is extremely limited.  There are many things you can’t readily save elsewhere AT ALL. Oh, yeah, and the camera Stink. It not takes better pictures. The price of it is not affordable why the quality is not higher than the price of the Ipad? Those questions are still sticking to my mind. And they never learned the meaning of hyperbole, Many of the apps can’t be personalized (what if don’t LIKE brown for my calendar)? And most especially it doesn’t have USB Ports. I have to be more knowledgeable about the Ipad so that I can manage it all of the specific details.

My Passion is My Inspiration

There are so many things I have learned since the beginning of my journey that I want to share to all of you. I have seen and learned a whole lot, I have practiced, created and enjoyed doing this passion and most importantly I have met such wonderful persons who believe in the saying “To Live is to Dance and to Dance is to live.” And all of this sacrifices that I learned in dancing is a True Inspiration. Dancing can entertain and positively affect the audiences and I just love to express my emotions through dancing. 

My love for my passion is so strong that inspire me a lot, when I think about dancing it gave me more freedom in what I can do because I can be focusing on the things that I am enjoying.  There are so many artistic thoughts and lessons that will stay with me. People dance for many reasons, and there are many things that inspire people. Dance is an expression, it makes your moves visible, it is the hidden language of the soul, it is dreaming of your feet and that one can dance anywhere, even in his or her heart. It all says that when you really want something, you can make it happen and motivation is the key.
